Holding Tank Install Under Vanity

Here are some pictures of the holding tank installation.

Deck pumpout line is visible behind bulkhead. (I put the hose on the deck fitting before feeding through deck. It would have been impossible to attach hose to fitting otherwise. The clamp was attached after fitting was set in deck.)

When complete the pump handle will either be hung up out of the way or will be modified so it can be left in place and not interfere with head use.

So with one pump I can send waste to tank or overboard or pump tank overboard.

So far it has worked out well, although a larger tank might have been a better idea.

If I had it to do over I would consider mounting the tank above the water line so emptying would not require a pump.

Was aboard a friend's Catalina 35 this summer and emptying the holding tank simply requires opening a through hull.

Will take pictures when project is complete.
