October 3, 2003:
We finally got power on Monday and phone yesterday - no drinkable water as yet. We rode out the storm aboard - it is our home - and did OK. At one point when the wind came from the south, we had lots of IFO's (interesting floating objects) find us, including a 20- foot steel work barge and a full sized dumpster. We spent a couple of hours fending off in 40 knot winds and getting them tied so they wouldn't be a hazard, but not before 2 boats were beat up by them.
The pictures you have links to are Herrington North - I met the gal that took them. I have some for Shipwright enclosed. One boat sank, several damaged. C and D docks damaged at the south end.

Still no drinkable water at the marina. Maybe today. We've been living off our tanks since the hurricane. Good thing Herrington North has showers.
