This afternoon was spent assembling the Tower Frame. And a couple of hours in the evening were wiled away assembling the deck rails and prepping the swing beam.
Last night I built the roof to the point where it needs to be lifted to the tower. This morning, I added the vertical support beam for the swing set, built the floor and added the slide. Becca was beside herself. First with excitement then with concern for Aaron was napping and hadn't had a chance to see it yet. I would have gotten the railings on too, but it started pouring buckets.
A (sort of) break in the rain gave me a chance to get the railings on and the kids to play a bit.
Bruce came over and provided much needed assistance in raising the Swing Beam and roof into position. All Finished on a very worthwhile project. The kids had a blast on the swings, today.
