Featured Bristol 40s WoodWorking Boat Projects Runabout

Winter is a time for boat projects and 2007 was no different. Bruce spent much of the winter in my shop as we made some "adjustments" to the centerboard of his racing boat, a 19 foot Oday Mariner 2+2.

I also built the kids some bookshelves and began the process of refinishing the various doors in our old house.

But, it was the new Air Compressor that would change my life. Suddenly I had at my fingertips a whole host of inexpensive and higly efficient tools. A random orbital sander, impact wrenches, a die cutter and a paint gun suddenly made the worst part of woodworking more fun. The finish work. With my new tools, I look forward to putting a fine finish, not only on my future projects, but a few of the older projects as well.
